Contact lenses are now available in all prescriptions including patients with astigmatism and those who wear bifocals. Contact lenses are the most commonly prescribed due to the fact that they are extremely comfortable and easy to wear.

Soft Contact Lenses

Soft contacts are now available in multi focal and for astigmatism. Soft contact lenses include:

  • Daily Disposable: can be worn for just one day, then discarded. I emphasize daily disposable contacts in my practices. They are currently the most popular and safest of all contact lens modalities. Patients wear a fresh pair of contacts every day. No money spent on solutions that cause dry or inflamed eyes from the preservatives in the solutions. Daily disposables are easy to travel with and are very good during the spring time allergy season. Virtually no infections or allergies when using daily disposable contacts.
  • Two Week Daily Wear: also need to be removed at night. Two week daily wear contacts must be cleaned, rinsed and sterilized and changed every 2 weeks. Solutions needs to be purchased on a regular basis to prevent eye infections with these lenses.
  • Color-Changing: can change the color of your eyes, even if vision correction is not needed. These lenses also need to be cleaned and sterilized on a daily basis.
  • Cosmetic lenses: can be fit to cosmetically improve permanent corneal scarring.

We dispense contact lenses from all of the major contact lense manufacturers including:

  • Accuvue
  • Alcon
  • Bausch & Lomb
  • Cooper Vision

We offer all types and brands of contact lenses specifically fitted for each individual's needs. It is very important that your lenses are fitted correctly based on your prescription, eye shape and specific needs.
